Navy Children School, SVN is run under the aegis of the Navy Education Society and states on its own site that it is affiliated to CBSE under affiliation number 180015. Its motto is 'Gyanen Shobhate', meaning 'Knowledge Embellishes'. The school reports around 1,400 students and 70 teaching staff, presents students for both Class X and Class XII CBSE examinations, and runs from 0730 to 1500 hrs, Monday to Friday. It is one of two Navy Children School campuses in Visakhapatnam, the other being at Nausena Baugh.
