About this school
Sant Atulanand Convent School was founded in 1980 by Dr. Raj Singh, formerly head of the chemistry department at Udai Pratap Autonomous College, Varanasi. The school says it was the first privately run school in Eastern Uttar Pradesh to receive CBSE affiliation, in 1986, and gained senior secondary status in 1992. The Koirajpur campus at Harahua teaches from Balvatika to the senior secondary level and has separate boys' and girls' hostels. The school also runs a branch at Raj-Rajeshwari Nagar, Gilat Bazar.
