Is the AI teacher really always-on?

Is there a real video call with the AI teacher?
Today the AI Teacher experience is a chat with a “video-call style” presence (a pulsing dot and mobile-first chrome). Real synthesised video is on the roadmap — we’re honest about the gap.
How does the spin wheel give coins?
The spin itself is free and picks tomorrow’s subject. Submitting the resulting practice quiz earns a small daily-spin XP bonus on top of the quiz XP. Coins come from quiz submits and the +100 welcome bonus, and can be spent to forge a custom quiz or topped up directly.
What if my streak breaks?
Every student gets one auto-freeze per week. Miss a day and the freeze auto-consumes — your streak survives. Miss two days back-to-back with no freeze and it resets. Milestone bonuses (3, 7, 14, 30, 60, 100 days) fire once each.
How does the teacher quiz builder use AI?
Teachers describe the chapter, class, and difficulty; Orbit drafts 10 MCQs with explanations and concept tags. Every run logs cost and tokens to a telemetry view in the admin console.
Can the school admin see XP history and AI chats?
Yes — a dedicated Orbit admin module gives a sortable student list, a per-student ledger, an AI chat-thread browser with full transcripts (for safeguarding), cost telemetry, and a full audit log with payload diffs.
Is student data private?
All student data is stored in Indian data centres (Mumbai + Bangalore) with role-based access. AI calls carry PII guardrails (no studentId or email in prompts), and every admin action is audit-logged.
How fast can a school go live?
Most schools are live within 5 working days — we import class lists, run a 45-minute teacher training per grade, and you’re shipping homework on Monday.
Is the LMS a separate product or part of Orbit?
The same Orbit. Same login, same admin console. Courses, lessons, assignments, gradebook, learning paths, and certificates live alongside the AI Teacher and the gamification engine — one subscription covers both.
Can teachers really build a full course in 4 minutes?
The wizard takes ~4 minutes of teacher input; the AI drafts the outline, lessons, quizzes, and assignments in the next 30–90 seconds. With review and tweaks, a polished course is 15–25 minutes end-to-end versus 6–8 hours of traditional authoring.
Does Orbit support SCORM and existing courseware?
Yes — SCORM 1.2 packages and xAPI statements import on Growth and Enterprise, PDFs and YouTube playlists auto-summarise into lessons, and existing Moodle/Canvas courses link via LTI 1.3 on Enterprise.
How are certificates verified?
Every certificate is a tamper-evident PDF with a QR code that resolves to a public verify page showing the issuer, learner, course, and a hash of the rubric used at issuance. Revoked certificates show a clear revoked notice.
