How long does Nucleus take to set up?
Most schools are live within 7–10 working days. We import your roster, fee heads, staff records, and class structure, then run two training sessions. Enterprise rollouts with multiple branches typically take 3–4 weeks.
Can Nucleus work on our existing biometric devices?
Yes. Nucleus integrates with most RealTime, Essl, Matrix, and ZKTeco devices via push or pull APIs. If you have one we haven’t integrated with, our team adds support during onboarding at no extra cost.
Can we migrate without downtime?
Yes. We migrate student records, fee history, and staff data from Excel, Tally, or any ERP. Imports run in parallel with your existing system, so there is zero downtime — and a migration engineer validates every row before go-live.
Is Nucleus secure? Where is our data stored?
All data is stored in encrypted ISO 27001 and SOC 2 certified data centres inside India, with role-based access, audit logs, SAML SSO (Enterprise), and daily backups with point-in-time recovery.
Do parents need to install an app?
No — parents can use the free Inforida app (Android + iOS) or receive everything via WhatsApp and SMS. Each school picks the primary channel during onboarding.
How does billing work — can we pay per student?
Billing is per-student, per-year with volume tiers. Pricing is indicative; actual rates depend on student count, modules, and term. Enterprise customers get a fixed annual fee regardless of growth.
Can we integrate Nucleus with our LMS, accounting, or SIS?
Yes — and Nucleus ships its own LMS (Orbit AI), so most schools never need an external one. It also has REST APIs, webhooks, LTI 1.3 outbound, and turn-key integrations with Tally, Zoho Books, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and the other Inforida products.
What support do we get after onboarding?
All plans include email support with guaranteed SLAs (24h / 4h / 1h for Starter / Growth / Enterprise). Growth and Enterprise add WhatsApp support and quarterly business reviews.
